On Friday, June 26, 2026, we proudly celebrate the 31st Annual Sporting Clays Classic. This event that has strengthened Scouting's Shooting Sports program for over three decades.

This premier event does more than bring together corporate teams and community leaders for a day on the range. It directly supports one of the most structured, safety-driven, and character-building programs in Scouting: Shooting Sports and Range & Target Activities.

Through certified instructors, nationally standardized safety protocols, strict supervision ratios, and specialized equipment, Scouts learn far more than marksmanship. Earning a Shooting Sports merit badge requires mastery, not participation. Scouts must demonstrate safety knowledge, proper handling procedures, and measurable proficiency standards.
