FUTURE READY STEM LABS AT BCCHS

Our students are doing extraordinary things. They are thinking critically. Collaborating. Engaging in hands-on exploration. Many are preparing for futures in medicine, science, math, and technology. But they are doing so in a facility that no longer supports the level of education your schools are called to provide.

Our BCCHS science lab-last renovated in 1985-was built in a different era of learning. This year's Mayfair special project will kick off a campaign to transform BCCHS' science department into 3 future-ready STEM classroom laboratories. This will enable greater hands-on, inquiry-based learning in biology, chemistry, physics and emerging STEM fields. Modern environments will expose students to the real-world experiences of universities, medical, and professional labs.
