1/4 of our clients have a mental health diagnosis-but often they are inaccurate or outdated so we retain our experts to ensure that clients get the services they need.

Helps CFR Civil Legal Service staff to assist parents with securing public benefits that help them pay for food, medical care, counseling, and other rehabilitative services.

Contributes to representation of families with a criminal attorney - many of our clients face criminal charges for not having the resources to provide children with adequate care.

Provides families with the legal advocacy they need for safe, stable housing. So many of our clients' families live in substandard housing and are often faced with eviction

Contributes to CFR's basic team model for any family subjected to the family policing system: providing an attorney, social worker, and support from a parent advocate for an average of two years. No matter the length of the case, CFR never gives up on families.

Supports families who fear deportation with specialized immigration assistance, providing a third of CFR clients access to treatment providers who speak their language
