Your student will be Head of Viewpoint School for a Day with Mark McKee during the 2026-2027 school year. In this rare and highly-visible opportunity, your student partners with Mr. McKee as they enjoy hands-on experience overseeing a whole school community - from greeting students and parents at morning drop-off to meeting with faculty and senior administrators, speaking at events and assemblies throughout campus, touring behind-the-scenes facilities, and reflecting on leadership lessons while sitting down to a power lunch. Give your student the unique opportunity to step into the shoes of the incomparable Cathy Adelman and be the Head of Primary School for a day. One of our youngest students can learn about leadership on the path to becoming world ready. Our Head of Primary School for a day will shadow Cathy Adelman beginning at 7:30 a.m. when they greet students at morning drop-off, and helping her ring the Viewpoint Bell at 8:00 a.m. - a timeless tradition. The day will continue with classroom and Innovation Space visits, play time, meetings with teachers, and more.
Important Notes:
Join librarians Sarah Davis and Laura Monjoy for breakfast and books. Your child and up to five (5) friends will enjoy free dress for the day, a Starbucks and Blinkies breakfast, and will each receive a special reading-related gift.

Be Mr. Don Anderson for a Day! Wearing a Campus Safety shirt and hat, your child will assist Viewpoint's Director of Campus Safety, Mr. Anderson, by supervising Drop-Off and Pick-Up, patrolling the campus, visiting Divisional Offices, and helping conduct an emergency drill! There will also be lunch with Mr. Anderson.
Spend some time with Head of Lower School, Mr. Wymer, and help run the Lower School. Your student will visit classrooms, have lunch at Kitchin's Kitchen in Upper School with both Mr. Wymer and the Assistant Head of Lower School, Mrs. Petty, and assist with carpool.
Your child and a friend will help plan the menu and enjoy lunch with Mrs. Adelman, Head of Primary School, and Mrs. Vanessa Harrington, Assistant Head of Primary School. In addition, your child will receive a photo gift to remember this special occasion.
A private vocal coaching lesson (60 minutes) with MS/US Choral Music Teacher, Carrie Dietsch! Whether you're a beginner or an advanced musician, this is your chance to stretch your vocal chords!
