Curious about how fine chocolates are made? Join Nanou for a hands-on afternoon in her chocolate lab in the Oakland Hills.

You'll explore every step of the process, from polishing molds and decorating chocolates to learning how shells are formed, filled, and capped. After a short coffee or tea break while the shells set, you'll pipe your chosen fillings and complete your creations.

As the chocolates cool, enjoy a guided tasting, relax in the lab, or take a short walk to admire sweeping East Bay views of San Francisco.

Former EB Assistant Head Thierry Durandard invites six EB students, in Kindergarten and older, to his home in the Oakland Hills for a fun-filled afternoon of jam/marmalade making.

Children will pick fruit straight from the trees before heading to the kitchen to transform their harvest into a delicious homemade marmalade. Along the way, they'll have the chance to meet and pet Thierry's beloved cats. Children will also have the opportunity to visit with and groom Thierry's friendly horses, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful hillside views.
