Grab three friends and join Mrs. Dhar at her home for a tea party with her American Girl Dolls. Dress in your finest attire and dress your doll up to join you as your guest, or borrow one from Mrs. Dhar for the occasion. Guests will enjoy tea and treats while they listen to a reading from Mrs. Dhar's favorite American Girl book. After tea, there will be time to dress dolls up and play.

Your child will experience all of the fun duties that come with being EC/LS Head for one morning. Alongside Mrs. Dhar, your student will assist with carpool duty, classroom visits, other important responsibilities, and finish their busy day with lunch.

One lucky student will be Head of School for a half day. Your child will enjoy helping Mr. Hinchey with some of his daily tasks, such as morning car line, morning announcements, leading chapel, observing classrooms, and reading a book to several younger classes. The special day will also include lunch with Mr. Hinchey and another staff member and an opportunity to create a personal business card recognizing her/himself as the Head of School. Finally, the half-day will end after lunch with the preparation and sending out of a personal message to our Heathwood community about your child's experience. Mutually agreed upon date.

Choose your adventure: either spend an afternoon fluttering around Riverbanks Zoo Botanical Gardens or at the Mad Platter with the Brilliant Butterflies EC4 teachers, Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Doty. Options include meeting at the zoo for a guided garden tour led by a trained horticulturist to observe butterflies in their natural habitat and having a picnic snack in the garden, OR fluttering over to the Mad Platter to paint a butterfly ceramic pottery of your choice, while enjoying a fun butterfly snack.

After school, spend a couple of hours in the kitchen with Chef Michelle to make dinner for four. Students in grades 5th- 12th grade are eligible.

You and two friends can join Mr. Giovannone for a fun trip to Riverbanks Zoo! After we enjoy observing all of the animals, we will take a break and enjoy a snack together.

Spend some quality time with Lower School Art teacher, Ms. Melissa Brookshire to help teach her art classes, attend and assist in running Town Hall meeting, and direct carpool. Mutually agreeable date. Grades K-4th grade.

One lucky student will serve as Librarian through lunchtime alongside the EC/LS librarian, Mrs. Powell. While wearing a personal Heathwood Hall badge/lanyard, your child will enjoy the following activities: a special "librarian" morning treat; learn how to scan books for check-in; choose from a variety of new bookmarks and items for the library from the DEMCO catalog; choose and order a new book for the library that will have a special bookplate in the front of the book stating it was selected and gifted by your child; read a story to an EC class; print overdue notices; and have lunch with two friends and Mrs. Powell including a special dessert. Step into the world of adventure education with this exclusive behind-the-scenes experience! The lucky winner of this auction item will spend a day getting an insider's look at what makes the PEAK program so dynamic with middle school teacher, Sarah Kate Gravely. You'll help lead adventure activities and lessons for middle school students, set up the Giant Swing and other challenge courses for participants, and even join in on the fun during PEAK classes. You'll also help manage gear inventory and you'll walk away with some cool PEAK swag to remember your day. This is the ultimate opportunity to step into the role of an adventure educator-teaching, leading, and having a blast along the way.

Mrs. Deese will consult with the family and then plan a personalized, four-day trip complete with school tours, where to stay, where to eat, and even some fun things to do along the way. She will include questions to ask on your tour and tips for making the college search process rewarding for the whole family.

Heathwood English teacher Elise Hagstette will spend two hours with your rising senior this summer helping him or her prepare for the Senior Exhibition project. They will talk through potential topics; get started on research; and devise a plan of attack. At the end of the session, your senior should feel less worried and more optimistic about this Capstone project. The session will occur on Heathwood's campus at a mutually agreed upon time this summer.

See what it's like to be a Deputy! Have doughnuts and chocolate milk with Deputy Josh Albins. Deputy Albins will provide a half-day tailored to your child's interests. Potential activities include, but are not limited to, a tour of the sheriff's vehicle, meeting a K9 officer, and helping apprehend a PRETEND lawbreaker.
