"This piece was created by members of the Stormont Vail Health Forensic Nursing Team, a group whose daily work sits at the intersection of science, compassion, and advocacy. In our professional roles, we document trauma, preserve truth, and stand beside individuals on some of the most difficult days of their lives. Art offers us a rare opportunity to translate that experience into something restorative-something that honors resilience rather than harm.
The work you see here is shaped by the same principles that guide our practice: attention to detail, respect for every story, and a commitment to elevating the voices of those we serve.
