A Grand Old Time for Those Young at Heart!

This casual evening of cocktails and conversation will allow any grandparents, special relatives, or friends in your student's life to get to know each other outside the (joyful) frenzy of larger school events.

Join us for a springtime cocktail party created especially for the fun, fabulous, and forever-young grandparents in our community. A Grand Old Time for Those Young at Heart is all about creating community and celebrating the energy, wisdom, and joy you bring to your families and our community every single day. Expect a warm atmosphere, cool drinks, and just the right mix of relaxed and memorable.

Hosted at the Arlington home of St. Rita grandparents Ann and Bill Lang, grandparents of Genevieve Collard (1), Annie Stansberry (1), Lucie Collard (K), Mark Stansberry (Shepherd), and Nicolas Collard (Angel).

Ever dreamt of a Korean BBQ night where the *ssam* (lettuce wraps) are crispier than a K-drama plot twist? Or the *somaek* (Korean beer drink) is smoother than a K-Pop love song? If so, this is your chance to say *"Jal meokkesseumnida!"* (I'll eat well!) without booking a flight to Seoul. Join Alex and Paul Kilgore, parents to an Angel and Kindergarten , as they reminisce on their 3 years living in Korea for a fun evening of home cooked traditional Korean food and adult beverages at the Kilgore House on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 6-9PM.

Menu Highlights:

- Samgyeopsal (pork belly): So perfectly marbled, it'll make your cardiologist blush.

- Bulgogi: Beef marinated in a secret sauce (Paul swears it's *not* just soy sauce and tears of nostalgia).

-Ram-don (Jjapaguri): Noodles so good, they sparked a class war in the movie Parasite (but don't worry, ours comes without the socio-economic commentary).

- Kimchi: Fermented to "clear your sinuses or your money back" levels of spice.

- Banchan brigade: 10+ side dishes, because no Korean meal is complete without enough tiny plates to rival a IKEA flat-pack.

Laissez le bon temps rouler! Lucky party-goers will have Nelson Morse, a New Orleans native and founder or Cajun Catering will cook a traditional Louisiana Crawfish Boil. Sit back and enjoy a cold drink while we take care of the rest. Includes beer and wine, sausage, corn, potatoes, garlic, and lots of live, fresh crawfish flown in from Louisiana just for this event!
