Artist Statement
The Beam Collection, a sterling silver jewelry series inspired by special friendships, memory, and music.
The Beam Collection began as a one-of-a-kind necklace created as a birthday gift for a close friend during our annual trip to Ibiza, Spain; an island deeply rooted in music, dance, and freedom. The piece was inspired by the song "Beam Me Up," which became the emotional soundtrack of that trip and I wanted to recreate that emotion by crafting little sun beam from recycled sterling silver. What started as a personal object quickly became a symbol of connection, light, and wearable art that suits every season.
The collection is now expanding into a series of pieces such as necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and ear-cuffs. Each piece is designed to feel like a small beam of light you wear and carry with you.
