He has performed and taught at the Society for Preservation and Advancement of Harmonica (SPAH) Convention - one of the world's largest gathering of harmonica teachers and players - and leads community programs through Harmonicas for Health, Guitars for Heroes, The Boys and Girls Club and Graceworks.

Adams teaching style is hands on, encouraging, and focused on helping students find confidence and joy through music.
