Scottie Scheffler won the 153rd Open Championship (aka British Open) at Royal Portrush in July 2025, claiming his fourth career major title and the coveted Claret Jug, as well as the title Champion Golfer of the Year. Scheffler delivered a dominant performance, finishing at 17-under-par (267) across 72 holes to secure a four-shot victory. The win completed Scheffler's third leg of a career Grand Slam.
