Train Like a Champion

Fresh off their 2025 IHSA Class 4A State Championship, Benet Academy Basketball invites young athletes to train in a championship culture at the Benet Academy Boys Basketball Camp. This one-week camp is designed for boys entering 4th through 8th grade and offers players the opportunity to choose one week that fits their summer schedule.
Campers will develop fundamental skills, basketball IQ, and confidence while learning directly from Benet's championship coaching staff and players. Each day emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and competitive play-modeled after the same standards that led Benet to the top of Illinois basketball.

Camp Highlights Include:

• Instruction from state championship coaches and players
• Daily focus on shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, and footwork
• Competitive drills, small-group instruction, and game situations

Own a one-of-a-kind 24x24 acrylic masterpiece created by the entire 8th grade class, with each student contributing their own unique painted space. Feliz Pascua! Happy Easter! Calling all 4th-8th graders! Join Senora Bolton and 4 of your friends at her house for a big Easter egg hunt and making cascarones! Cascarones are a traditional Easter egg in Latin American countries. They are glitter filled Easter eggs that are then broken over friends' heads as a symbol of good luck. We will be coloring the eggs and learning how to fill the eggs with glitter. Then we will be cracking some for good luck! Kiddos can take the remaining cascarones home to their families. Materials used for cascarones are eggs, egg paints, glitter, and birdseed. Plastic Easter eggs will be stuffed with Herseys Kisses, Kit-Kat Bars, Skittles, and Starburst.

Start the day off right with a special morning of treats, creativity, and fun hosted by the SRS team! The lucky winner and four friends will enjoy a cozy breakfast featuring hot chocolate and delicious donuts while spending time together before school.

But the fun doesn't stop there! The group will also take part in a special craft, tailored to the winner's age, and play games to add some extra excitement to the morning. It's the perfect way to kickstart the day with laughter, creativity, and a little something sweet!

This event will take place on a Tuesday or Thursday morning from 7:30-8:30 AM before the end of the school year. The winner will coordinate with Annie Demko to choose a mutually agreeable date.

Roll the dice and start the school day with a win! The Student Support Crew is hosting a BUNCO Breakfast Bonanza, where the winning student and up to 7 friends will enjoy a delicious breakfast while playing the fast-paced, laugh-out-loud dice game BUNCO-with fabulous prizes up for grabs! It's the perfect mix of food, fun, and friendly competition to kick off the morning right!

This breakfast bash will take place on a Tuesday or Thursday morning before school (date to be determined).

It's the 6-7 challenge, and the question is simple: do you have what it takes? For $67 (because 6-7 energy only), students in grades 4-8 get their chance to take on Mr. Dietz in the St. John of the Cross gym. Participants can choose a one-on-one game or a round of HORSE, with each student signing up for a 20-minute time slot to bring their best moves. Friends can't attend just to watch, but students are welcome to sign up for back-to-back sessions so they can catch each other in action. Anyone who beats Mr. Dietz will walk away with a prize, serious bragging rights, and peak 6-7 glory.

A SignUpGenius will be sent out prior to the event for students to reserve their spot, and parent volunteers are encouraged to help supervise by signing up for a morning or afternoon shift.

The challenge takes place May 16 and 17, so step up, shoot your shot, and see if you can claim the 6-7 crown!

Let your #1 Wildcats fan get in on the action as the official Ball Boy/Girl at an SJC Varsity Football game this fall! Your child will be right on the sidelines, soaking up the excitement and cheering on the team from the best seat in the house.

To make the experience even more special, the winner will also receive a bundle of SJC swag, including an SJC winter hat, SJC flag, cozy SJC blanket, and SJC flannel pants (size XS). Everything they need to show their Wildcat pride all season long!

Your child will join Mr. DiMarco in leading morning and afternoon announcements; learning all of the important things a principal does to keep SJC running. He or she will also be present to observe the classrooms and school activities throughout the morning. The winner will also be checking around the building for safety measures such as making sure the doors are locked and determining playground weather. Your child could be a future School Principal!
