"THE FRINDLE"
The 3rd Grade Class art project is a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Squarage Studio's Pose Chair. Every slat was hand-painted by a student before the chair was assembled, so each piece carries a different small artist's mark. The kids helped prototype, paint, and build it together. Each slat is its own little world, full of patterns, landscapes, animals, and favorite objects dreamed up by a third grader.
THE "PATTERN"
"In our middle section class, the children explored the theme of spring through a rich and inspiring art activity. They first created the background of their artwork using India ink, producing beautiful shades and effects. Once the paper was completely dry, they carefully traced and decorated spring flowers with creativity and attention. Each piece became a joyful and vibrant artwork, reminiscent of a blooming meadow full of spring colors.
Dans notre classe de moyenne section, les enfants ont exploré le thème du printemps à travers une activité artistique riche et inspirante. Ils ont d'abord réalisé le fond de leur tableau à l'aide d'encre de Chine, créant de jolis effets de nuances. Une fois le papier bien sec, ils ont retracé et décoré des fleurs de printemps avec soin et créativité. Chaque Å"uvre est ainsi devenue un tableau plein de fraà cheur et de gaieté, évoquant un joli pré fleuri aux couleurs du printemps."
Little Library. "The theme of "connection" was explored by the kindergarten children through an idea that resonated even more deeply with them: sharing.Together, we asked ourselves what we could offer, pass on, and circulate among one another. Many ideas emerged: clothes, toys… But the idea of books especially stood out. It opened the possibility of discovering new stories, for free, in both French and English.
KC is therefore proud to present its little library, born from the children's hands and ideas. A place of exchange and connection, painted by the children themselves, which we hope will bring joy to your children and your neighborhood.
Each child wished to leave a trace, their signature, and to imagine the title of a book that would tell their own story - a gentle and symbolic way of marking their passage."
Heart Shaped Puzzle. The students immediately shared that the word "puzzle" came to mind when I introduced the idea of "connection." Since our previous lesson focused on planting, they suggested incorporating flowers. Together, we came up with the idea of creating a heart-shaped puzzle made of resin and dried flowers, placed on a canvas that the students decorated themselves.
The Village
This project shows how we are all different but connected to each other. After observing pictures of cities and highways, we decided to create a village where each student could travel through it and stop by their classmates' neighborhoods. First, we drew roads on squares and then organized them together so that all the roads connected. Next, each student painted and used markers to draw different houses in their neighborhood. Finally, we added car stickers to make our city more dynamic.
Human Linkage. This piece explores the tangible reality of the word 'Connections.' Often, we think of human connection as something invisible or ethereal, but in this work, it is rendered as a physical, structural necessity. By using the letters of the word as a scaffold, the art illustrates how language and community support one another. Each figure is suspended, reaching out, or holding on-demonstrating that our individual stability is often dependent on the strength of the links we forge with others. The vibrant blue sky and grassy horizon suggest a sense of freedom and play, reminding the viewer that while connecting requires effort and 'holding on,' it is ultimately a joyful, life-affirming act of balance.
From Me to You. For Lilapalooza, the 2A students explored the theme of connection through a collaborative artwork titled "From Me to You."
Each child sits in their own "box," representing their personal space, their world, and their individuality. Yet, despite these separate spaces, they found ways to connect with one another-through a gesture, a shared object, a look, or a smile.
This piece shows that connection is not about physical distance, but about attention, kindness, and the willingness to reach out to others.

The Ties That Bind. This collaborative art piece explores the concept of interconnectedness within our classroom community. Each student is depicted holding a continuous golden rope, symbolizing the invisible bonds of friendship, support, and shared experience that link us together.As the rope winds through the group, it spells out hidden messages - like CONNECTION -reminding us that while we are individuals with our own unique styles and personalities, we are all part of a larger, unified whole. No matter how far apart we may seem, we are always within reach of one another.

Little Art, Big Connections: Exclusive Collection of 16 MagnetsEach TPS student explored a variety of painting techniques, creating a rich range of colors, gestures, and emotions. From these creations, the teacher selected and cut tiny 2" x 2" squares, carefully sealed under a clear glass surface and transformed into magnets. Each magnet has the young artist's name on the back, and four pieces were created collaboratively.This exclusive collection of 16 magnets invites you to play with connections: arrange them as you like, change the composition over time, and create unique visual relationships with every display. On a refrigerator, they become both decoration and part of everyday life, perfect for holding a sweet note or a child's drawing!

Connection in Bloom
In exploring the theme of Connection, the children created decorative hanging planters inspired by our relationship with the Earth and one another. Through painting, pattern-making, and collaborative discussion, the students explored how plants and nature sustain and connect us all. Each planter reflects the children's creativity and individuality while contributing to a shared display symbolizing growth, care, and belonging. Through this project, the children expressed ideas about friendship, responsibility, and caring for the environment.

With art teacher Dylan, each class voted on a theme and a selected a color palette for their unique woven tapestry. The students made their own looms and each student wove their own segment and assembled it into a colorful hanging woven tapestry.

Jardin d'enfants
Cushion cover decorated with small, round, multicolored felt flowers. The children cut out the flowers, and the teacher sewed them on to create a garden. Each students name is lovingly represented in the garden.
