This package is a keeper! Go behind-the-scenes and get a crash course in Zoo Keeping 101! This keeper for the day package gives you the opportunity to experience one of the most important jobs at the zoo - being an Animal Care Specialist. You'll learn the necessary skills to care for endangered species. This package includes: Participation in animal diet prep and animal enrichment activities Chats with Animal Care Specialists 4 hour behind-the-scenes walking tour (8:30 AM - 12:30 PM) and a personalized name tag.

Have a Beardsley Bash at the Zoo with our Zoo-rific Birthday Package! Combine the best of both packages and have your guests create a Zoo craft AND visit with one of our education animals! Includes admission for up to 20 kids and 20 adults; 40 total (does not include children under 1 and immediate family of 3); with being able to pay additionally from 41st-45th persons; access to a party space in the Carousel building for 2 hours; 4 carousel rides per child; a plush toy for the birthday child; 3 large cheese pizzas (pizzas are cut into 12 kid slices); three 2-liter bottles of sodas. From checking in on furry; feathered; and scaly patients to learning how we keep more than 350 animals healthy; you'll step into the shoes of a wildlife vet and see firsthand the fascinating world of zoo medicine. You may assist with routine exams; observe diagnostic procedures; or even help prep for a procedure - no two mornings are ever the same!
