Event Details

Location: Red Run Golf Club

Event Details - March 21: Off to the Races starts at 7 pm and ends at 10:30 pm. Racing begins at 7:30 pm.

Cashless Event: It's our goal to have this be a cashless event. Please follow the directions below to save your credit card in our system to speed up check in.

Parking: Red Run has a private parking lot and complimentary valet (tip not included).

Attire: Think 'date night' - see photos from past events, below, to help. Red Run has a dress code that includes no ripped jeans, hoodies, casual clothes, etc. Derby hats are optional, but always welcome. If you wear a hat, you can enter the hat contest for a chance to win a prize!

Food Options: This year we are serving heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts and late night snacks. The event is not a dinner/plated event, but ample food will be provided.

Drink Prices: 

• Domestic Beer: 2 OTTR Bucks
• Imported Beer: 3 OTTR Bucks
• Wine: 4 OTTR Bucks
• Liquor Drink: 4 OTTR Bucks
• Canned Cocktails: 3 OTTR Bucks
• Soft Drinks: 1 OTTR Bucks
• Sparkling Water: 1 OTTR Bucks

What You Need to Before the Event

• If you haven't yet, log into your account in the upper right corner and add a credit card, cell number and email address of all the guests you purchased tickets for. 
• You'll need Off to the Races Bucks (OTTR Bucks) to participate in the evening's events. OTTR Bucks pay for your drinks (like drink tickets) and allow you to bet on the horses. You can buy your bucks ahead of time on the website, or, buy when you check in. One pack of 10 OTTR Bucks is $40.
• If you want a chance to win the $3,000 vacation we're giving away, you'll need a Golden Ticket. Golden Tickets cost $50 and are available ahead of time on our website, or can be purchased throughout the night.
• If you want a chance to win a $500 gift card from the Five-Star Dash race, you'll need a Five-Star Dash ticket for $15. These tickets are available ahead of time on our website, and can be purchased until the 5th Race begins.

Silent Auction Details

Off to the Races also has a silent auction that is powered by mobile bidding. When you check in you'll get a link to the bidding site, but you can start browsing and bidding tonight. Here's a quick How to Bid video.

How to Bid

1. Once you have completed a registration on the campaign, you will receive the welcome text message, linking you to the items to browse, bid or buy.
2. Click on the Blue link in the Welcome text to be directed to the Items page.
3. View Items by category or search by Item number or name.
4. Click the item of interest to view the description as well as the current bid and or price.
5. The system will auto-populate the bid amount based on the set increment for the item. Choose to bid at the set amount or higher.
6. Click Bid.

How to Place an Auto Bid
Allow the system to automatically bid up to a designated amount for you. The system will bid incrementally up to the amount designated as long as someone else places a bid against you. If no one bids against your auto bid, the price remains the same.

1. Click the item of interest
2. Click the Auto Bid tab
3. Enter in the maximum amount you would like to bid
4. Click Bid.

How to Bet on Horses

1. Get your Off to the Races (OTTR) Bucks at the check in table.
2. Review the horse sheet for the upcoming race and choose a horse(s) to bet on. Fill out your bets on the betting slip on each table. 
3. Go to the betting table.
4. Pay for your bets. Each bet costs one OTTR Bucks (one Five-Star Dash ticket for Race 5). You can bet as many OTTR Bucks on as many horses as you want in each race and on as many races as you'd like at once. 
5. Watch the race. Cheer on your horse(s)!
6. If your horse wins, bring your betting slip to the betting table and get your raffle ticket. Write your name on the back of your ticket(s), go to the announcer, and place your ticket(s) into the bowl for a chance to win a prize and a Golden Ticket. 
7. One name will be drawn from all the winners for each race. If your name is called, go to the prize table, hand your ticket to the volunteer and pick a prize!
8. Repeat!

Place bets with OTTR Bucks on races 1-10 for a chance to win each race. Each race raffle winner will receive a Golden Ticket to bet on the Golden Race.

Buy your way into the Golden Race

Didn't win races 1-10? No problem, buy your own Golden Ticket for $50. Buy as many as you'd like to increase your chance of winning. Buy from a the cashier in the auction room.

How to win that vacation?

1. Buy/win a Golden Ticket.
2. Write your name on the front and visit the Golden Race table. Place your Golden Ticket in a bucket for the horse you think will win.
3. All bets on the winning horse will enter into a raffle drawing.
4. One lucky winner will be drawn from the raffle to take home the big prize:
5. A $3,000 Create Your Own Adventure vacation. Winner will receive a gift certificate to book a vacation with a travel agent.
