Your $50 gift provides 1 fire kit containing basic supplies to search through debris after a fire. The kit contains a sifter, shovel, rake, tote, dust mask, gloves, trash bags, hand wipes, sanitizer, eye drops and a tarp.

Provide help with a much-needed cleanup kit and comfort supplies for 5 families following a disaster. Each cleanup kit includes a sectional handle with mop, broom, squeegee and push broom heads, pail, scrub brush, sponge, disinfectant, detergent/degreaser, bleach, trash bags, gloves and dust mask. Comfort kits contain deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, facial tissues, wash cloth, shampoo, liquid soap, lotion, comb, razor and shaving cream.

Your gift provides the installation of a special "bed shaker" smoke alarm for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. These alarms work in conjunction with audible alarms to alert individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to the dangers of a home fire using multiple sensory stimuli, such as flashing lights, low-frequency audio alerts and shaking or vibrations. Your gift covers the fire safety training and installation for a bed shaker smoke alarm. The Red Cross, through coalitions of community partners, installs smoke alarms and provides fire and disaster safety education in at-risk communities across the country

Your generous gift provides a full day of food and shelter to two families of four following a disaster. From house fires to multi-state disasters, the Red Cross goes wherever we're needed, so people can have clean water, safe shelter, and hot meals when families are faced with emergencies. This gift includes providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, the costs to mobilize and distribute a cot, two blankets, and comfort kits as well as the cost of Red Cross workers to provide this service.

Your $1000 gift covers the cost to deploy an Emergency Response Vehicle to a disaster for three days. This specialized vehicle was designed by the Red Cross to serve people affected by disasters by driving through affected communities to deliver meals, snacks, relief supplies, information and comfort. This daily cost includes the cost of fuel and maintenance, as well as travel, meals and shelter for the 2 Red Cross disaster workers who operate the vehicle.

Your $2500 gift provides additional financial assistance for two families impacted by a disaster to help bridge the gaps during recovery. After some disasters a second round of financial assistance can be provided to households who have additional recovery barriers on a major disaster response. The assistance fills the gap when a disaster destroys the community's ability to help itself recover and other large-scale resources are not available.

Your $5000 gift covers the cost to conduct a Sound the Alarm event. This includes installing the target number of smoke alarms, utilizing an ERV for the day, lunch for the volunteers at the event, and a fire safety package for the homes served. The average event installs 200 alarms.
