By adopting an animal at the Fort Wayne Zoo, you support exceptional daily care of the zoo's animals. Our professional staff will provide the special diet, environment, and veterinary care that your animal requires.

Adopt for yourself or as a gift! Animal adoptions are perfect gifts for every occasion, especially holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, back-to-school, births, weddings, zoo trips, and more!

When you symbolically adopt an animal, you will receive:

• Plush animal
• Personalized wallet card
• Photo of the animal
• Personalized adoption certificate
• Fact sheet about the animal
• Letter from the Zoo Director

All Adopt an Animal packages will be mailed to the address provided as soon as possible; no later than Monday, April 27.

$50 of your adoption fee is tax deductible. Quantities are limited.

Have you ever considered being a vet? What about one who cares for exotic, interesting, and unique animals - like the ones that call the Zoo home? Experience a day in the life with our vet staff, as they care for some of your favorite Zoo residents.

This experience is for Zoo fans ages 10 and up (children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult) and should be scheduled on a mutually agreed date and time before December 1, 2026.
