He became one of only 29 coaches in IHSA boys' basketball history to reach this mark, a distinction highlighted in recent coverage. This milestone comes after more than 32 years leading the Shamrocks, during which he has delivered over 600 wins at Saint Patrick alone, multiple deep postseason runs, and the program's first-ever trip to Champaign, finishing third in Class 3A.
