Quaker Ridge Golf Club Foursome

You and three friends will enjoy a day of golf here at Quaker Ridge. In Golf's Digest's 2013-2014 Ranking of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses, Quaker Ridge was Ranked 69. The course is 6,976 yards from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 74.8, and it has a slope rating of 140. Quaker Ridge has hosted three Met Opens, three Met Amateurs, and three Met PGA Championships and the Walker Cup.

Faculty member Pat Deane & Athletic Director Sal Annunziata are challenging a pair of parents or alumni to a match play face off during the Prep's Annual Golf Outing at Quaker Ridge Golf Club on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Pat and Sal will defend the legendary Ram's Double-Bogey Cup against you and your partner.

Brunch and dinner as well as all greens fees are included plus a Tee Sign. Win and get bragging rights for the year, the match results announced at the Outing Dinner and the Cup prominently displayed among the Prep's many trophies. Plus take home some great FP gear for you and your favorite Ram.

Meadow or River Course with carts
Lunch in the 55th Hole Grill Room is included.
The Meadow Course, originally designed by Hal Purdy in 1965 was updated by Brian Silva in 1989 with an addition of a few holes. In 2013, Stephen Kay began the implementation of the final master renovation plan. The Meadow Course is a Parkland style course with moderate to significant elevation changes throughout. Off the tee, the Meadow Course will challenge you to use a variety of clubs. Shots into the greens are demanding and ball striking and distance control are a must in order to score. The greens are challenging and demand deft speed control to ensure a maximum of 2 putts.

The River Course, with most holes originally designed by Hal Purdy in 1965 and the new holes designed by Brian Silva in 1989 was renovated in 2008. It is a Parkland style course with rolling terrain. The course is fairly forgiving off of the tee with the true test coming on the approach shots. The greens are challenging due to the contours where one must try to keep the ball below the hole to have the best opportunity to make putts.
