This one-week program is geared toward students who are considering studying finance in college or who want to learn about investments and financial markets. The workshop covers financial markets, stocks and bonds, alternative investments, risk management, business ethics, and industry trends.

This summer program is designed specifically for high school students (male or female). In just a few days, you can get a firsthand idea of what it's like to study business in college. The program allows students to choose to attend in person or remotely.

foreign exchange markets, international trade, and business management.

9 A.M. - 3 P.M.

One day mentoring session with EMMY Award Winning sound designer, composer, music producer & songwriter Ryan Hobler '99. Choice of location: remote (zoom), music studio in Montclair, NJ or post production suite in Manhattan.

Mr. Hobler has over 20 years experience and has worked on many audio and audio visual mediums ranging from Super Bowl commercials, tv shows, films, and podcasts.

Current or college aged Prep students interested in music and music production, audio post production, behind the scenes theater students, or anyone interested in audio recording and mixing studios will benefit from this unique look into the audio/music industry.

Bloomberg Shadow Day
Is your student (high school or college-aged) interested in a career in technology, enterprise software, or product management?

Spend a day at Bloomberg with Calvin McCoy '08, Product Manager, Enterprise Technology.

The experience will include time at Bloomberg's New York headquarters, an overview of how Bloomberg builds and supports enterprise technology, and the opportunity to discuss careers in technology and product management.

This is a chance to gain exposure to technology in a global business.

Date: Mutually agreed upon by December 31, 2026

Spend a Day with Supervising Attorney for the New York County Defender Services & Prep alum Larry Spollen '95 - Your student (at the Prep or currently in college) will shadow a public defender for the day visiting Criminal and Supreme Courts in Manhattan to observe arraignments, hearings, treatment courts, and possibly a trial.

Throughout the day the student will be able to learn about the workings of a NYC public defender's office, meet and have lunch with NY Defender Services' staff, including other public defenders.

Four - 60min coaching sessions for a high school student, college student, or recent grad to work on mapping out exciting career pathways, possible majors, post grad job search process, and fundamentals in networking. Complete the Sparketype assessment, and learn about how you're wired to work, and map out a career action plan to sustain career exploration and research.
