Meadow or River Course with carts
Lunch in the 55th Hole Grill Room is included.
The Meadow Course, originally designed by Hal Purdy in 1965 was updated by Brian Silva in 1989 with an addition of a few holes. In 2013, Stephen Kay began the implementation of the final master renovation plan. The Meadow Course is a Parkland style course with moderate to significant elevation changes throughout. Off the tee, the Meadow Course will challenge you to use a variety of clubs. Shots into the greens are demanding and ball striking and distance control are a must in order to score. The greens are challenging and demand deft speed control to ensure a maximum of 2 putts.

The River Course, with most holes originally designed by Hal Purdy in 1965 and the new holes designed by Brian Silva in 1989 was renovated in 2008. It is a Parkland style course with rolling terrain. The course is fairly forgiving off of the tee with the true test coming on the approach shots. The greens are challenging due to the contours where one must try to keep the ball below the hole to have the best opportunity to make putts.

Mr. Hobler has over 20 years experience and has worked on many audio and audio visual mediums ranging from Super Bowl commercials, tv shows, films, and podcasts.

Current or college aged Prep students interested in music and music production, audio post production, behind the scenes theater students, or anyone interested in audio recording and mixing studios will benefit from this unique look into the audio/music industry.

Spend a half-day at SNY with Sports Anchor, Eamon McAnaney P'24,'26 and see the sports broadcasting business from the inside -- attend production meetings, visit the studios and view Mets Pre Game show live at 6:30 as your son (current or college-age FP student) explores his interests in the field of sports broadcasting.

Bloomberg Shadow Day
Is your student (high school or college-aged) interested in a career in technology, enterprise software, or product management?

Spend a day at Bloomberg with Calvin McCoy '08, Product Manager, Enterprise Technology.

The experience will include time at Bloomberg's New York headquarters, an overview of how Bloomberg builds and supports enterprise technology, and the opportunity to discuss careers in technology and product management.

This is a chance to gain exposure to technology in a global business.

Lunch with Time Senior Sports Correspondent

Is your son interested in learning what it takes to be a successful writer or journalist? Is he passionate about sports journalism in particular?

Sean Gregory '94 P24 is the veteran senior sports correspondent with Time, and adjunct professor at Columbia Journalism School, and has written over 30 cover stories for TIME and interviewed athletes like LeBron James, Caitlin Clark, Serena Williams, Aaron Judge, Kobe Bryant. and many others. He has also covered everything from the Olympics to Super Bowls, and has just returned from Milano Cortina, where he was reporting on Olympic preparations and events on the global stage.

Spend a Day with Supervising Attorney for the New York County Defender Services & Prep alum Larry Spollen '95 - Your student (at the Prep or currently in college) will shadow a public defender for the day visiting Criminal and Supreme Courts in Manhattan to observe arraignments, hearings, treatment courts, and possibly a trial.

Throughout the day the student will be able to learn about the workings of a NYC public defender's office, meet and have lunch with NY Defender Services' staff, including other public defenders.
