Science Teacher Sarah is an experienced, dynamic teacher who has made a very conscious decision to teach children outside of the traditional realm.
Knowing that science is the key to explaining how everything works, she found a way to combine facts and experiments, suitable for children of all levels. She teaches theory in a way everyone can understand and, with hands-on projects, reinforces concepts in a way everyone enjoys. For more than a decade, she has honed her technique, sparking a newfound love of science in children of all ages.
More than just science, Sarah teaches respect and manners. When students show an attempt at manners, they are rewarded with a good behavior prize. She believes that positive reinforcement is the best way to mold young minds and turns that belief into action in the classroom.

ICN Chess Camp--1 week

Our unique team-first approach to training camps caters to both beginning players and teams preparing for city, state, & national competitions. Our camps provide a perfect combination of USCF-rated match play, group analysis, individual coaching opportunities, daily themed lectures, social play and much more. Players will be grouped based on their appropriate level, and additional sports, activities, and social play will be included throughout each day. Pizza lunch and a snack are included. Camps throughout the year will feature special guest visitors and unique themes.
Dates: All school holidays, Drop-off: 8:45 - 9:00 am, Pick-up: 4:30 - 5:00 pm

Led by Coach Russ, ICN was founded with the vision of establishing a network of high performing chess programs, where each school embodies their own unique chess culture while still maintaining a network wide commitment to excellence.
Across the Impact Coaching Network, a "Team First" training approach will be emphasized and our coaches / leaders will collaborate with each partner program to strengthen and build their school community through a visibly vibrant and successful chess program.
