Orlando Vivas is a Brooklyn-based art director and artist who works across multiple mediums, including photography, assemblage, painting, sculpture, and collage. In this piece, Vivas explores the tension inherent in the Latino experience during the Trump era. He uses a dominant black form to suggest an intrusive force attempting to fracture the vibrancy of the Latinx community, represented by bright greens, chartreuse, and radiant yellows.
