Butter Artisan Set

The sheep wagon was invented by the Burt Ranch at the turn of the century in Terry, Montana. The antique wooden carder was a needed tool to comb out the burrs. At the time, the Burt Ranch was the largest sheep operation in the world!

Stunning Native American sculpture of Chief Washakie

This impressive bronze sculpture of Chief Washakie, one of the most influential leaders of the Eastern Shoshone, reflects both strength and diplomacy. Known for his wisdom and strategic leadership, Chief Washakie played a pivotal role in guiding his people through a time of immense change in the American West, including negotiating the Treaty of Fort Bridger, which helped establish the Wind River Reservation. Standing approximately 30 inches tall, this piece was cast by the esteemed Eagle Bronze Foundry in Lander, Wyoming-an area deeply rooted in Western heritage.

John McGee framed original oil painting; framed size: 22" x 29"

John F. McGee was born and raised in Iowa. Received his Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Northern Iowa. Studied under Frank Howell, his former teacher tuned full-time artist. After living in Colorado for a number of years, John and his family returned to the Midwest, to Wisconsin, to be near family. There John maintains a studio and continues to pursue his love for art. Known for his ability to produce works in many different mediums including oil, acrylic and watercolor. His work is highly saleable.

Jim Rey framed original oil painting; framed size: approx 20" x 24"

Jim Rey was born in San Bernardino in 1939 and grew up in Palo Alto, California but now resides outside Durango, Colorado, Jim's works, collected nationally and internationally, have been exhibited in many shows and locations including the Fredric Remington Museum in New York. His paintings have been purchased by the High Plains Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska and by the Leanin' Tree Museum in Boulder, Colorado. He participates in the Small Wonders, Great Works Show at The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

Articles on his works have been published in magazines such as Cowboys and Indians, The Cowboy Way, Western Art and Architecture, Southwest Art, Art of the West, Western Art Collector, International Art Collector, Western Horseman, Beef Magazine, and others, as well as many newspapers and periodicals. This painting was last appraised at $1500.
