Mr. Bradford Tillar Raines is a happy, gregarious man who loves life and his adaptive skills to any physical challenge is met with great determination.
Brad started at Easterseals Adult Center in 2012 where Easterseals Hire, Inc. Transition and Employment assisted with his placement and job coaching transition to the community. Through the years, he has worked at Alltel for nine years; the White House in D.C. during a summer in the Childrens' Correspondence Mail Room; UAMS in Guest Services; graduated from Pulaski Tech Culinary Institute; and was employed at the Little Rock Marriott in Room Service.
Brad returned to Easterseals Center for Training and Wellness in 2023 in his next phase of life's adventure at age 50. CTW has provided the much needed educational support for the continuation of focusing on his independent skill sets and training development.
Brad is a First Place Gold Medal Winner in Bowling at the International Special Olympics in 1991 where his sister, Ashley was his "Coach"; and is a 4th Degree Black Belt World Champion in Taekwondo Martial Arts and was a member of the World Demo Team. He is proud to be involved in the International Special Olympics where Taekwondo was just approved as a recognized sport in the Special Olympics. Brad continues to love and compete in national Taekwondo tournament competitions and appreciates any opportunity involving music, dancing, being with his best friends, and visiting his family in Florida!
