Lincoln brings a smile and joy to everyone he meets. He has affectionately been named the Mayor of Easterseals because of his love of talking to and waving at everyone he sees. Lincoln has a way of making people feel so special and loved, whether it's because of his big hugs, blowing kisses, or infectious laugh.
Lincoln was born with a rare genetic condition called Au-Kline Syndrome. He has battled low muscle tone, developmental delays, and a host of other challenges. We were told that he may never walk or talk. But we thank God that he is a big talker (he has about 150 words), and not only is he walking independently...he's running and jumping, and he especially loves to dance!
Lincoln began attending Easterseals when he was just a few months old. Every one of his teachers and therapists has been absolutely amazing. Not only has their patient, consistent, knowledgeable support of him in therapies been incredible, but their love for him and encouragement of his progress has been such a blessing as well. They are some of his biggest cheerleaders! Alongside Easterseals, we celebrate every new milestone Lincoln reaches, because he's on his own unique journey, and he's a special kid worth celebrating!
