GOAL

Jacqualin Farmer's life journey has been shaped by growth, perseverance, and meaningful relationships. She began receiving services at Easterseals as a baby through outpatient therapy, where early intervention played a critical role in supporting her development. Recognizing her potential and need for continued structured support, Linda Rogers recommended that Jacqualin enroll in the Easterseals Preschool Program. Through this program, she built a strong developmental foundation that prepared her for future educational and life experiences.

After completing the preschool program, Jacqualin continued to receive individualized support through multiple specialized Easterseals programs while attending public school. These services were designed to meet her unique needs and promote her academic, social, and personal growth. Throughout her educational years, Easterseals remained a consistent and valuable source of support. Through the organization, Jacqualin and her family were able to access waiver services, allowing her to qualify for supportive living companions and further enhancing her ability to live a fulfilling and supported life.

Following her graduation from high school, Jacqualin transitioned into adulthood by attending the Center for Training and Wellness. This milestone provided her with a structured and nurturing environment to continue developing important life and personal skills. While attending the Center, Jacqualin has been able to use and strengthen her artistic abilities through participation in the A.R.T. Program, where her creativity continues to flourish.

Jacqualin values being part of the Easterseals community and has formed many meaningful friendships throughout her journey. The supportive environments and lasting relationships she has experienced have played an important role in her happiness, personal growth, and overall quality of life.
