Jacob David Hall - "Jacob Strong"

Born on June 2, 2017, at just 27 weeks in Little Rock, Arkansas at UAMS, Jacob David Hall entered the world as a true fighter. Shortly after birth, he was transferred to Arkansas Children's Hospital, where he underwent his first surgery and began what would become an incredible journey of strength and resilience. Jacob spent over six months in the NICU and faced 24 separate, distinct diagnoses, proving from the very beginning that he is nothing short of extraordinary.

Jacob has overcome challenges including premature birth, hydrocephalus, shunt revisions, removal of bowel in his stomach, a G-tube, and cerebral palsy. Through it all, he continues to embody the meaning of "Jacob Strong."

Beyond his medical journey, Jacob is full of life and joy. He loves Mexican and Italian food, and his favorite movie is Cars. He enjoys jet skiing, boating, tubing, riding bikes, swimming, playing on the playground, reading books, and listening to music. His favorite songs, "Alphabet Dub" and "Car Car" by Elizabeth Mitchell, always bring a smile to his face.

Jacob also loves participating in activities like Littles, Hippos and Fish, and Chatterbus for extra therapy, where he continues to grow and thrive. He especially enjoys learning about numbers and letters, subjects that capture his curiosity and bright mind.

Family is a big part of Jacob's world. He has two brothers, Jonathan Fox, a 26-year-old accountant, and Noah Fox, a 19-year-old race car driver. They are always making him laugh and filling his life with fun and encouragement.

Jacob is adaptable, empathetic, fearless, funny, joyful, patient, and caring. His strength is inspiring, his spirit is uplifting, and his life is a powerful testament to perseverance and love. Jacob isn't defined by the hardships he has faced, he is defined by the courage, joy, and determination with which he lives every single day.
