We are so excited to be part of and support the Easterseals Fashion Show!
Layla Bridges has been a proud Easterseals student for the past five years. She was diagnosed with autism at three years old, and since then, she has continued to grow, learn, and shine in her own unique way.
Layla loves expressing her creativity through drawing, painting, completing puzzles, and creating images with Play-Doh. She also enjoys helping in the kitchen-especially cooking and baking desserts-and you can often find her dancing with joy.
During COVID, Layla's previous school closed. When it reopened with limited staff, we were referred to Easterseals. Moving our child to yet another new school felt overwhelming, and as a family, we were understandably nervous about the transition.
However, the staff at Easterseals welcomed us with open arms. We quickly realized they truly had Layla's best interests at heart. They guided us through every step of the process and made the transition smooth and reassuring. Knowing that Easterseals serves students through 12th grade also gave us peace of mind, as we no longer have to worry about another school change for high school.
Today, Layla continues to build new skills and strives to improve every day. She is supported not only by her family at home, but also by her Easterseals family. This school has truly been a blessing to our family.
Thank you, Easterseals!
