Mila is a 20-year-old young woman who has been part of the Easterseals family almost her entire life, beginning with early intervention at just five months old. She attended the Easterseals Preschool and continued to receive occupational, physical, and speech therapy services through high school. In 2025, Mila proudly graduated from high school and went on to enroll in the Easterseals Phase 2 program, which has become the highlight of her day. At Phase 2, she thrives alongside her friends and teachers while building independence and learning new skills.
Outside of Easterseals, Mila stays active and engaged in her community. She plays Miracle League baseball with the Cardinals and bowls in the Special Olympics league. Her passions include singing, dancing, watching horror movies, shooting pool, attending concerts and live theater, and reading and learning more about the things she loves.
Mila enjoys modeling in the Easterseals Fashion Event because it allows her to show off her fashion sense and catwalk moves while boosting her confidence. Participating in this fundraiser is meaningful to her, as Easterseals has supported and empowered her throughout her life.
