Your Sycamore Middle School student and eight friends will have the opportunity to join Sycamore parent and biostatistician Flora Hu for a fun, hands-on exploration of skincare science! In this two-hour session, students will learn the history and chemistry of lotions, then create their own natural, flower-infused lotion by blending steamed floral water with warmed vaseline, guided by Sycamore parent Flora Hu and trained high school volunteers. Sessions are limited to nine total students for safety and engagement, with additional sessions added if needed. Waivers, including photo and video release permissions, are required. Will occur at Sycamore and School on a mutually agreeable date in summer 2026.
