PAPPY VAN WINKLE WORLD'S RAREST BOURBON SALUTES SOWW WARRIORS

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

One Limited Edition Authentic Pappy Van Winkle 20-year Barrel Head Hand Signed by Julian Van Winkle III
President of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery
Julian P. Van Winkle III is the third generation Van Winkle to produce bourbon whiskey in Kentucky. He joined his father, Julian Jr., in 1977. At that time, Old Rip Van Winkle produced only two labels of its wheated bourbon whiskey.

A sign famously hung on the front of warehouse A in the old Stitzel-Weller distillery that read, "Quiet, Whiskey Sleeping." A recognition that something special and rather sacrosanct was taking place behind that door.

Once retired, each barrel head is lovingly restored, lasered with the corresponding and iconic label matching the 20-Year bottle, and signed by Julian Van Winkle III. As rare and iconic as the bourbon they housed, these barrel heads are entirely unique testaments to the heritage of Pappy Van Winkle and are the ultimate collector's item for enthusiasts.

Plus ...

Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot "B" 12 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey specially engraved with the SOWW Logo! The rare just became iconic!

Van Winkle Bourbons pays homage to one of the whiskey industry's founding fathers. Their bourbons are made from a wheated bourbon recipe, meaning that the secondary ingredient used in the bourbon is wheat instead of rye (other bourbons, such as Larceny Bourbon, have similar mash bills). After the bourbon has been distilled in the heart of Kentucky, this Special Reserve Lot "B" bourbon is aged for 12 years and bottled at 45.2% ABV. This young Van Winkle is extremely elegant and refined for its age, featuring compelling notes of baking spice, citrus, nutty notes and charred sugar.

Eagle Rare Bourbon Whiskey

A sensational Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, this single barrel project is a powerful, pedal-to-the-metal, balls-to-the-walls style of bourbon that has been aged 10 years and has 45% alcohol, which makes it 90 proof. Seemingly bigger than that in the mouth, it is full-bodied with lots of caramelized citrus, maple syrup, smoky creme brulee and cappuccino-like notes as well as terrific fruit from the fermentation. The wood is only a complementary aspect of this velvety textured, full throttle bourbon. It appears to be a classic.

June 6th 2024 marked the 80th anniversary of "D-Day", the storied allied invasion of Nazi-occupied France during World War II. The ultimate success of this largest-ever amphibious assault was due to the undaunted courage, resolute tenacity, and selfless sacrifices of D-Day's valiant warriors.

This limited D-Day Edition Whiskey honors the daring soldiers of the allied ground forces who stayed "ON POINT" as they parachuted, glider-landed, assaulted beaches, climbed cliffs, and plowed through hedgerows to take the fight to the enemy. Chaos and confusion reigned and losses were staggering, but these heroes persevered to win the battle, helping to liberate France and turn the tide of the war.
