Description:

On 6 June 1944, Normandy, France, amidst the roar of D-Day, the paratroopers of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division, capture the first of four German cannons at Brecourt Manor. Led by Lt. Dick Winters, the 12 men of Easy Company, with a handful of reinforcements, rout the German gun crews and 50 enemy paratroopers.

For his actions, Lt. Winters was recommended for the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Detailed Description:
The 506th P.I.R.,101st Airborne at Brecourt Manor

In the mid-morning hours of D-Day, June 6, 1944, the deafening sounds of gunfire resounded across the French hills, along the Channel coast and against low-hanging clouds. Amidst the fields of the French farm, Brecourt Manor, a particular cacophony erupted as a German battery of four 105mm cannons shook the soil. Five miles distant, on Utah Beach, the Brecourt battery's steel rained upon American soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division as they disembarked from their landing craft. Within minutes of that first salvo, an ad hoc squad of paratroopers from Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th P.I.R., 101st Airborne, departed the French village of Le Grand-Chemin with a mission to silence those guns.

Having sacked the first cannon, Winters "reorganized the team." James Dietz's painting Silencing the Guns signifies this exact moment. While Winters confers with Guarnere, troopers Malarkey, Compton, Wynn, and Toye deploy to deliver suppressing fire to keep the Germans on their heels. Figures representing Lipton and Ranney emerge from a background hedgerow to rejoin their comrades. Soon, Guarnere will lead a charge to capture the second gun.

During the days following the D-Day invasion, in a grassy field in Normandy, General Omar Bradley personally awarded Winters the Distinguished Service Cross, the military's 2nd highest award, in recognition of Winters' actions and leadership in the silencing of the guns at Brecourt Manor.

To this day, Easy Company's assault on the German guns at Brecourt Manor is taught at American military academies, including West Point, as a textbook example of small-unit tactics and leadership.

HANG TOUGH PRINT

A limited-edition lithograph of the John Shaw painting "Hang Tough," the print is signed by several members of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne.

The print depicts members of Easy Company on Christmas Eve, 1944, during their famous stand in the Bois Jacques forest just outside of Bastogne, Belgium. Surrounded by Germans, ill-equipped and under-gunned, Easy Company takes inspiration from the words of Captain Dick Winters to "Hang Tough."

Their heroic stand, portrayed in the HBO mini-series "Band of Brothers, helped turn the tide of the last desperate German offensive in what came to be called the Battle of The Bulge.

Signed by 15 members of Easy Company plus 506th PIR Pathfinder Jack Agnew.

THE POINT PRINT

This is a limited-edition print of the Larry Selman painting "The Point," and is autographed by Larry Lomell.

Number 19 out of 475, this print depicts the moment on D-Day, when First Sergeant Larry Lomell led companies of the 2nd Ranger Battalion up the sheer cliffs of Pointe du Hoc strategically located between Utah and Omaha Beach. Scaling ropes while under constant German fire and a barrage of grenades, the Rangers assaulted straight up in an effort to knock out 155mm German artillery guns reported to be at the top of the point.

Wounded on the beach after exiting his landing craft, Sgt. Lomell continued up the rope ladders to the summit, only to find the German guns had been withdrawn. Undeterred, Sgt Lomell doggedly searched for the guns, finding them concealed in an orchard some 250 meters inland. He disabled them with thermite grenades and was later awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. He ended World War II as one of the most-decorated US soldiers of the conflict.

"The Point" is the only print Larry Lomell ever signed.

A limited-edition print of the James Deitz painting "Specially Selected, 1974-2024" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the 1st Battalion (Ranger) 75th Infantry.

The painting captures the spirit and ethos of the "specially selected" warriors who comprise the 1st Ranger Battalion.

In January 1974, Army Chief of Staff General Creighton Abrams directed the formation of a Ranger battalion. The 1st Battalion (Ranger), 75th Infantry was activated and parachuted into Fort Stewart, Georgia on July 1, 1974. The modern Ranger Battalions were first called upon for service in 1980. Elements of the 1st Battalion, 75th Infantry (Ranger), participated in the Iranian hostage rescue attempts.

Since that time, the 1st Ranger Battalion has conducted Operation Urgent Fury In 1983, Operation Just Cause in Panama against Noriega and Panamanian Defense Forces, elements of Company B and 1st Platoon Company A, 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment deployed to Saudi Arabia from February 12 to April 15, 1991, in support of Operation Desert Storm. After September 11, 2001, Rangers were called to lead the way in the Global War on Terrorism. In addition to conducting missions supporting the Global War on Terrorism, the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment trained in the United States and overseas to prepare for future no-notice worldwide combat deployments.

They continue to recruit, assess, and train the next generation of Rangers and Ranger leadership. The 1st Ranger Battalion is second to none and exemplifies the world's most lethal, combat-ready defenders of freedom in the world.

This limited-edition print is dedicated to the United States Army Rangers of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment (past and present), and our brothers lost in combat and training, Never Forgotten!

This giclee print of the Jack Young painting is dedicated to the men and women of the OSS. Legends like Jack Singlaub, Aaron Bank, Paul Cyr, William Colby, Bob Kehoe - the Jedburghs who led America's first shadow war in Europe during WWII.

The Jedburghs were a carefully selected elite, thinking soldiers and unconventional warriors teamed with British and French operatives to infiltrate deep behind German lines to organize and train the French resistance and lead them in combat operations against Nazi forces. The Jedburghs were the precursor to today's Army Special Forces and paramilitary elements of the CIA.

As a multi-national force, the Jedburghs were coordinated and often equipped in part by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE). The American Jeds depicted in this print are equipped with a mixture of British and American uniforms and equipment while using American weaponry. The French maquis fighters are using a mixture of SOE supplied British weapons like the Bren light machine gun and the Sten sub-machine gun and captured German weapons.

This print bears the signatures of LTG (ret.) Charles T. Cleveland and LTG (ret.) Kenneth E. Tovo, both former Green Berets and US Army Special Operations Command commanders who recognize the tremendous contributions made by the Jedburghs as America's first unconventional warfighters.
This piece originated in the artist's own travel to the WWII battlefields of Europe. Interviews with Jedburgh veterans and careful study of their missions, uniforms and equipment allowed for an accurate portrayal of these incredible soldiers. This is the only Jedburgh print ever published.

Night of Nights

A limited-edition print of the Gil Cohen painting "Night of Nights" autographed by several D-Day veterans, including members of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne.

Artist proof 201 out of 250, it depicts the moment Easy Company paratroopers take their fateful step out of the door of a C-47 and into the flak-filled night over Normandy.

Many of the paratroopers carry a letter from Gen. Eisenhower that they keep tucked under helmets, in jump boots, and in bulging jacket pockets, close to their heart.

The letter read: "Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force! You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you." Each soldier knew "Tonight is the Night of Nights."

This Victory Edition print is personally signed by FIFTEEN brave American D-Day veterans including members of Easy Company, the famous 'Band of Brothers':

The Battle of Black Hawk Down

The painting illustrates "The Mogadishu Mile," a pivotal moment in a battle where Task Force Ranger (TFR) was outnumbered 10 to 1 during the first joint operation of Delta operators and Rangers. Despite enduring heavy casualties-19 soldiers killed and 78 wounded-TFR showcased remarkable bravery over an 18-hour firefight, making it one of the most intense urban combat scenarios for U.S. troops since World War II. The extraordinary heroism of the soldiers involved is a central theme, as TFR remains the most decorated special operations unit in military history, earning numerous prestigious awards, including two Congressional Medals of Honor.

Print #141 out of 160 depicts C-47s of IX Troop Carrier Command and their fighting cargo, the paratroopers of the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions in the first moments of June 6, 1944. They have come to liberate the oppressed.

Braving walls of clouds, German flak, and with just the moon to shine their path, the pilots toggle the green light over French fields and villages like Sainte-Mere-Eglise , a sign to the paratroopers-Go!

The United States Marine Corps, established on November 10, 1775, holds a rich and storied history that spans over two centuries. From the epic battles of World War II, such as Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima, to the grueling campaigns in Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan, Marines have repeatedly demonstrated their fighting prowess and unwavering esprit de corps.
