Nautilus CCF-X2 Reel Size 10/12 - Customized with March Merkin logo engraving on the drag knob

The newest addition to the Nautilus family is the CCF-X2. The multiple award winning dual action CCF-X2 drag system features twice the drag strength (20lbs+), twice the smoothness and half the startup inertia as the former CCF.

The CCF-X2 is featured in 4 sizes - the 6/8, 8/10, 10/12 and Silver King. All reels feature the made-for-fish fighting, big game handle and are fully sealed using our proprietary Activseal technology. Other components included in the CCF-X2 line are hybrid ceramic bearings, TPX bushings and an oversized drag knob to adjust the smoothest drag from zero to max in 6 full turns with our Infinajust system.

The 4.5-inch 8/10 and 10/12 reels share the same frame and the spools can be interchanged for a set up that covers 8 to 12 weight lines with just an extra spool.

Designed for use in some of the most demanding conditions around the globe, the Fortuna Regent delivers effortless control, power, and rapid line retrieval when you need it the most. The Fortuna Regent is built around a multi-pad, carbon fiber disc drag system housed within a sealed, waterproof hub design, which offers the highest level of sealing yet seen on a Hardy fly reel. Drag is adjusted via a tensioned regulator that results in positive, linear drag application within a one turn range whilst delivering impressive top end drag. Finally, the large arbor spool delivers exceptional line pick up, and the narrow spool profile ensures easy level stacking of the line during the heat of the battle. Offering flawless reliability on your next saltwater adventure, the Fortuna Regent is a worthy successor to the original Fortuna series.

LSM - The marine version of Litespeed is equipped with a hybrid drag system, sharing some elements of the Cobalt drag - fixed spindle, large heat-wicking conical surfaces, click stop drag knob. The LSM incorporates close tolerance composite bearings, and comes equipped with the same linear spring set found on LSF, optimized for each reel size. Like our Cobalt reel, it holds an IPX8 waterproof rating to 100 ft. LSM frame and spool share the same open structure as LSF, with emphasis on greater stiffness and stability.

Reels are sized for the line wight marked on the reel and one size down. For example our 8 is appropriate for 7 and 8 weight fly lines.

Full day Flats Fishing Charter with Capt. Chad Huff

Chad Huff, Fly Fishing Guide:

"I grew up the son of a fishing guide in the Florida Keys.

I sight fished my first tarpon at age 6. My brother and I got our first boat in 1978 at the age of 8 and we would explore the flats around Marathon. We got our first flats skiff and used to take it across Florida Bay to Flamingo and Cape Sable by ourselves. I caught my first Bonefish on fly by myself in 1984. In 1984 we also started coming to Chokoloskee to explore the Everglades. I fell in love with that untouched wilderness.

I specialize in fly fishing but also offer spin/conventional fishing. Tarpon, Snook, Redfish are my primary targets but also catch triple tail, trout, and occasionally see large schools of permit. Fishing in the Everglades and 10,000 Islands. Full day charters, aboard Hell's Bay Boatworks Guide 18."

Full day Guided Fishing Charter with Capt. Jared Cyr - Grey Ghost Charters

Jared was born and raised in Key West, Florida. He is a 7th generation conch. To say that Jared is a good fly-guide is a shallow portrayal. He has a depth of knowledge about the waters of Key West and an understanding of the fishery that goes far beyond being able to pole a flats boat. It's the kind of knowledge that no GPS will help you find. It's a feel, a sense of timing and a few practiced tricks that make Jared a master of his craft.

Full day Flats Fishing Charter with Capt. Derek Rust

"My name is Captain Derek Rust. I was born in the small town of Whitman, Massachusetts located on the south shore of the state. I grew up there fishing the local ponds for bass, and the near coastal waters for stripers, bluefish, and false albies. Fishing was always a passion of mine, and it started at a very early age. My mother and my uncle were responsible for getting me into the sport of fishing. They always made time to bring me out fishing when I was young, and I will never forget that.

In my early 20's, I moved from Massachusetts to Lake Tahoe, California to pursue another passion of mine, skiing. After a short time, skiing fell quickly to second place in the pecking order after I fell in love with fly fishing. The challenge fly fishing is what draws me to it. It is always humbling, but can be extremely rewarding when everything lines up right. Once I started fly fishing, it became a quest to catch everything that swims on a fly, and, I spend all of my free time and money doing it. This quest has taken me to some pretty amazing places around the planet in search of new challenges. This is what ultimately drove me to move to the Keys full time. The challenge of sight fishing here became addicting, and I was completely consumed by it.

I have been visiting the middle Keys since I graduated high school. I always loved the island lifestyle, and knew that I wanted to end up here one day, and, somehow it worked out. I now live in Marathon, FL, right in the middle of the Keys full time. I guide here in the Keys year round, and I specialize in fly fishing and light tackle shallow water sight fishing. Sight fishing is highly exciting, and, can be addicting. The thrill of hearing your own heart beat while a monster permit tails in front of you is something you will never forget. Fishing is my life. I love to share my passion down here with everyone, and I am fortunate to get to do it on a daily basis."

Full day Flats Fishing Charter with Capt. Greg Dini

"I was born in Orlando, Florida and began fishing at a very young age. I graduated to the saltwater environment at the age of 10, when our family bought a condo on the east coast of Florida. I mastered my home waters of Mosquito Lagoon while in high school and made trips down to the Florida Keys on a regular basis. I was fortunate enough to play sports as a young man and received a scholarship to play division one baseball at the University of Miami. This is where my addiction began as I got hooked on the three biggest saltwater flats species (Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit). Going to class was extremely hard when you live in an area that has incredible fishing opportunities, as South Florida did. Racing down to fish in Islamorada on an off day from classes was a regular occurrence. I quickly realized what I had in my backyard, some of the best flats fishing fisheries in the world!! The Florida keys, Biscayne bay, and Everglades were all wishing a short drive and I took advantage of these opportunities.

I invite you to come share in my addiction and look forward to spending some time with you on the bow of my skiff!!" - Capt. Greg

Have you caught yourself day dreaming about fishing the shallow water flats off Key West, the Marquesas, and the Lower Florida Keys? Fly Line Management
Windy days and boat decks fight like your kids in the back seat on a long road trip. Take the hassle out of managing fly line coils on the boat deck with the Launch Pad casting mat. The silicon spikes and cones will keep the line coils separated so you're always ready for that next big shot.

For managing fly line on boat decks and flat surfaces
Made from UV resistant silicone with UV proof, plastic grommets. This mat will sink if thrown overboard, grommets are provided for tethering if needed.
