About the designer:
Nick has been a Floral Designer with Ken Miesner's Flower Shoppe since 1978. Prior to that, he grew up in a Flower Shop. His parents owned Decker Florist in Festus, MO where he started designing for them at 16. Nick has also worked as a Designer at Flower Shops while attending college in Lawrence, KS and Springfield, MO. He is honored to have received numerous awards for Floral Design during his career.

This wreath is a symbol of human connection, care, and renewal. The hands form a circle, embodying the light that exists between us all: a quiet, shared space where hope takes root and healing begins.

Made from upcycled wood, the wreath honors the cycles of life- how what was once used or discarded always has the potential to be reborn into something new and meaningful, much like the light we find in each other after times of darkness.

In this piece, every hand represents a touch of kindness, a gesture of support, and the gentle strength found in community. Together, they create a living circle, a reminder that healing is a journey we walk hand in hand, carried by the light we choose to see and share.

About the designer:
George Jacobs is a grower, artist, carpenter and craftsman based in St. Louis, Missouri. His professional journey led him from growing perennials in Wisconsin, to installing solar photovoltaic systems in New Mexico and Hawaii, to Greenscape Gardens where he serves as a living systems specialist. He's an avid long-distance runner and enjoys adventuring outdoors with his golden retriever, Piper.

Poppies can be seen as a bright point like stars in the sky forming constellations in the vastness of space, so we don't forget those that came before us.

The inspiration for this wreath is a cozy, windswept midnight in autumn shared with loved ones. The rustling of leaves and the hum of the wind create their own quiet song, while the moody hues of burgundy, magenta, and blue echo the shifting fall foliage and the dark skies just before a rain. Romantic yet mysterious, Fleurs de Minuit captures the beauty of nature's transitions and the intimacy of gathering close during the season.

This wreath is created from a 30" grapevine wreath, bind wire, floral adhesive glue, dried star flowers, dried statice, dried amaranthus, dried lavender and eucalyptus, dried celosia, bunny tails, and dried pampas grass.

About the designer:
Donner des FLEURS means 'Give Flowers' in French. It's a fun play on words, seeing that the designer's last name is Donner. Aniyah is a St. Louis based floral designer and has been a traveling florist for four years. Her designs are experimental and intentional- mixing cultural traditions and influences in her designs.

Michael is a practicing professional artist, designer and stylist who owns and operates GurkenHAUS, an independent multi-media art and fine craft studio in the Northampton Neighborhood.
