The Little Rock Zoo is proud to unveil 22 unique capybara sculptures that will make their home at the zoo in anticipation of the zoo's new capybara exhibit. The sculptures are crafted out of recycled plastic and formed Milan, Italy by Cracking Art group famed for their unique animal sculptures that have graced museums, hotels, public parks, botanical gardens and other public spaces around the globe. You might have seen their work in Bentonville, AR with the green penguins at the 21C Hotel. The Little Rock Zoo capybara is a commissioned piece unique to the zoo and "adoption" of this work of art helps support the ongoing availability of these sculptures for the public to enjoy. Adopters will be officially recognized on donor signage at the new capybara habitat at the Little Rock Zoo and receive access to the grand opening celebrations for the new capybara habitat.
