TK Class Art- Collaborative Floral Canvas
18" x 22"
Each student created a small drawing using a limited color palette. Their artwork was carefully cut and arranged to form this vibrant flower and vase design. Every student is represented at least once in the final composition. The piece is presented on a 18" x 22" framed canvas and finished with archival glue sealer to preserve it for years to come.
Kindergarten Class Art- Collaborative Floral Canvas
20" x 26"
Kindergarten students created colorful drawings using colored pencils, oil pastels, crayons and paint sticks. Their artwork was cut and assembled to form this lively floral design. Every student is represented at least once in the final piece. The artwork is displayed on a 20" x 26" framed canvas and sealed with archival glue to preserve it for years to come.
1st Grade Class Art- Shinky Dink Mosaic Inspired by Jim Dine
Inspired by the heart artwork of Jim Dine, each student created a small drawing on shrink film. The drawings were baked and shrunk down to approximately 1-inch squares, then carefully arranged and mounted on matte board. The finished piece is framed to an 11" x 14" opening within a 16" x 20" frame, creating a colorful mosaic of student artwork.
2nd Grade Class Art- Abstract Floral Canvas (20" x 20")
Students worked in small groups to paint bold, expressive abstract designs using acrylic paint and large sweeping brush strokes. They then layered organic stencils over their work to add texture and pattern. A floral vase design was painted using negative space, allowing the students' vibrant brush strokes and markings to remain visible. The finished piece is a 20" x 20" framed canvas.
3rd Grade Class Art- Sunset Skateboard Deck
Students collaborated to paint vibrant sunset skies and ocean waves on the back of a Moose 7-ply maple skateboard deck (7.25") using acrylic paint. The board comes with mounting hardware for easy wall display, or it can be converted into a usable skateboard by adding trucks and wheels.
4th Grade Class Art- Woven Landscape Tapestry
Students created this 12" x 20" woven tapestry using high quality wool yarns and a variety of weaving techniques. Through color, texture, and pattern, the finished piece resembles an abstract landscape.
5th Grade Class Art- Mosaic Tile Tray
Students collaborated to create this mosaic on a 12" x 18" wooden serving tray. The design features a music note as a nod to our Jazzy Jubilee gala theme. Each student placed several tiles to help build this colorful and textured mosaic.
