Landscape painting by Claude Muncaster circa 1920. This painting was completed while Muncaster was at sea and experiencing a period of loneliness.
Munster's work was recognized by Queen Elizabeth who asked him to do a series of water colors of the royal residences at Windsor, Sandringham and Balmoral. He became a favorite of the royal family and was a guest at the royal palace at Sandringham.
