Champions League Final Party 2026
Football fans - watch the Champions League final outside at the Carrs with wings, grilled meats, snacks and beverages.

Champions League final is on May 30 at 12:00pm. The party starts when the game does!

Each adult attendee needs 1 ticket, kids are welcome.

Randeep (parent of Adrian, Grade 4 and Kieran, Murch Alum) and Bhavna (parent of Murch Alums) invite you to enjoy a delicious home cooked Indian meal. This is our fourth year hosting and each year the menu gets longer and more elaborate. Don't miss out!

This is an adults-only dinner. Each adult needs 1 ticket.

Celebrate the beginning of the next school year with Karaoke!

Party date TBD but within the first few weeks of school.

Hosts Jaime Horn and Mathew Harkins will provide: Karaoke machine, unlimited lyrics, and a safe space to belt out your favorite tunes.

You provide: blistering vocals, sweet dance moves, and dreams of glory

There will also be drinks for the adults, smoked meats and veggies for all, and a babysitter (for kids 6+) will be on hand.

NOTE: 1 ticket is good for 1 adult (kids 7+ may accompany a parent and will not need their own ticket)

Mom's Wine Night at Skip's!

Mom's wine night for 1st grade moms.

We'll get a bunch of bottles and appetizers - on us - and have a night to hang out while our kids are... somewhere!

Murch Trivia Night at the Fitzsimmons House

Join us for a fun, relaxed, and slightly competitive Trivia Night. Come solo or with a crew.

Curated by a local DC professional trivia expert, expect a perfectly balanced game: smart, fun, and not impossibly hard.

Join us for a relaxed and fun Mahjong lesson perfect for complete beginners who have never played before. You will learn the basics of the game while enjoying snacks, drinks, and a few Birdie Bam Cheers! By the end, you will understand the tiles and play an actual game. Perhaps this will evolve into the Murch Mahjong Club founding members?

Throwback Dance Party at Skip's: We Still Got It, We Just Start Earlier

Remember when a "night out" meant starting at 11pm? Pre-game at 9, cab at 10:30, and somehow still closing down the dance floor?

Yeah - same.

Welcome to the glow-up version of that era: a dance party designed for parents who still love to dance but want the evening to start after dinner because weekends are packed, mornings come early, and we rarely rally at 1am anymore.

Expect:

-A live DJ upstairs at Skip's on the Avenue to keep you dancing

- All the throwback songs from the 90s and 00s you loved and still love
- Enough time to dance hard and still wake up ready to shuffle the kids to all the weekend activities

Fun guaranteed. Beer, wine and cocktails are available for purchase.
