Artist: Jewel Ham
Bold, intimate, and unapologetic, "did i stutter?" captures a moment of presence, power, and conversation within intimate Black spaces. Through rich color and expressive composition, Jewel Ham invites the viewer into a space where wit, confidence, and lived experience take center stage. The piece reflects her broader practice of using narrative portraiture as resistance, centering voice, embodiment, and the quiet authority of simply being heard.
