Meet Aleida, a joyful 10-year-old from Mission, Texas, and one of seven siblings in a loving, close-knit family. Aleida is bravely facing leukemia, and through every challenge, her heart remains full of wonder and hope.
Aleida's wish is to go to Disney World-to meet Mickey and Stitch, see her favorite princesses, try new foods, and experience what she calls "the sounds of happiness." This May, her wish will be granted, creating a moment of pure joy for Aleida and meaningful time together for her entire family.
