Experience the incredible journey of Seeing Eye dogs in training! You and a guest will have the unique opportunity to spend a full day alongside a Seeing Eye instructor-either right here in Morristown, NJ, where it all begins, or in the bustling streets of New York City, one of the most dynamic and challenging training environments in the world.

Your day begins at The Seeing Eye campus in Morristown, where you'll meet with a training manager for a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility, meet the dedicated instructors, and watch the dogs being loaded into vans. From there, ride along with the team, gaining first-hand insight into the expert process of guide dog training.

If you choose to continue into New York City, you'll shadow instructors as they work with dogs navigating crowds, traffic, subways, and more.

Prefer to stay closer to home? Opt for the Morristown experience, where you'll see the early stages of guide dog training and experience the same hands-on learning with a local perspective.

Before your day ends, you'll even have the chance to experience what it's like to work with a Seeing Eye dog while under blindfold-an unforgettable moment of trust and connection.

Scheduling: This experience will be scheduled during the workweek (no weekends). We will try to accommodate your schedule as best we can, but please keep in mind that this experience needs to coincide with our training cycle. In the event of severe weather or heavy rain, the day will have to be postponed.
