VAULT OF THE VINES
The aromas will transport you to the vineyard from which it comes, of organic cultivation, a beautiful landscape surrounded by herbs and wildflowers of rich nuances, fennel, thyme, lavender. A bright wine with beautiful violet flares, a slow and patient maturity that only a very old vineyard can give, looking for a unique balance that only one terroir, one vineyard and one year can give. Its sandy surface and deep clay provide a muscular tannin, fine, tasty and fresh, an extraordinary expression of Tinto Fino, a balance and a purity that runs through the mouth from beginning to end leaving a finish with an infinity of nuances.
The Diez Almendros is 75% Tempranillo and "25% others," or more accurately, "A very fine, fruity special variety which is our best secret." Diez Almendros (10 Olive Trees) has great balance and perfect subtlety. On the nose, it is spicy and intense with balsamic and toasted notes. On the palate, it is powerful, fresh, with nerve, but friendly without the fuss of something that needs 10 years in the cellar. An explosion of blackberry and plum fruit, a nice peppery note, and just a touch of vanilla oak. Nicely concentrated, with a ripe, round tannic structure, and surprising length.
