Auction FAQs

How do I register to participate in the auction?

You can register when you first visit the website, under "Sign Up to Participate" button on the main screen. You will be asked to enter your details so we can contact you if you win an auction item.

How do I place a bid?

Click on "Items"  in the top menu, scroll through the list, and tap on the item you want to bid on. Beneath the photo and description you'll see the current winning bid and the next minimum bid you need to make. Enter your bid amount into the field at the bottom of the page and click Place Bid (if you are not registered you will need to register your details). Credit card information is required before placing your first bid.

How do I know if I've been outbid?

You can click on the Items Tab, and then the gold "My Activity" tab on the top right. From here, you can see your activity and all of the items you are interested in, currently winning, or have been outbid on. You will also be sent a text and email notification if you have been outbid.

Can I bid if I am not attending in person?

Yes! Our online auction allows remote bidding.
Please note that you or a friend will still need to pick up any won items in person during our designated pickup time at The Interstate Center on Sunday, November 23, from Noon-2pm.

When does bidding close?
Bidding closes at 8pm on Saturday, November 22. There is a countdown clock on the item page showing how long is left until the item closes. Winning bidders will be notified via email or text.

How do I know if I won an item?

When the auction closes, your credit card will automatically be charged only if you have won an item and/or made a donation. You will then be sent a text and email notification with a confirmation of your payment.

Do you ship auction items?
No. The Baby Fold is unable to offer shipping for auction item winners. Tree delivery is available for ONLY for Large Trees (6-7') within a 50 mile radius of the Interstate Center. All other items must be picked up in person at The Interstate Center on Sunday, November 23, from Noon-2pm. Winners of both Large trees and other items must still pick up their smaller items in person.

Where and when do I pick up the item(s) I won?

All auction items must be picked up from The Interstate Center on Sunday, November 23, between Noon and 2 p.m. Auction items cannot be picked up before or after Sunday, cannot be delivered (with exception of Large 6-7' Trees, which receive free local delivery), and cannot be shipped. If you are unable to pick up your item(s) on Sunday, please send someone to retrieve your item(s) for you. Any items not picked up by 2:00 pm on on Sunday become sole property of The Baby Fold.

What if I can't pick up my items during the designated time slot?
If you are unable to pick up your items during the designated pick up time (Sun. Nov. 23, 2025 from Noon - 2:00 pm at The Interstate Center), we ask that you send someone in your place. Items that are not picked up during the designated pick up time will become property of The Baby Fold. We are unable to arrange alternative pick up dates, times, and locations; and are unable to deliver Festival of Trees items to employees.

How do I make a donation?
