Santa gets all of the Christmas Eve glory, but it's his Mrs. who keeps the holiday spirit flowing the other 364 days of the year. With this 7-foot prelit tree, the ISU Horticulture Center honors the many-faceted Mrs. Claus: reindeer drill instructor, manager and morale-builder-in-chief to the elves, keeper of the magical North Pole garden, and loving partner to the Jolly Old Elf. Look closely for the many handcrafted elements including dioramas of Mrs. C in some of her favorite spaces, a three-faced clock tree-topper to keep her on task, and whimsical "veggies" harvested from her garden to name just a few. Ever the kind soul, Mrs. Claus insisted that we include some gifts from her as well, namely a book of her treasured recipes, a spa basket for holiday self-care, and a Christmas cactus to bring green into the home the whole year through.
