They'll help plan, create, and post real content on Canterbury's official social media accounts from capturing recess fun to interviewing teachers, photographing classroom projects, or sharing a "Day in the Life" story. They'll learn about photography, captions, brand storytelling, and digital responsibility and see their work featured for the whole community to enjoy. Includes: Planning meeting with the Communications Team School-branded "Social Media Team" badge for the day Use of a Canterbury camera (or supervised iPhone access) Feature post crediting the student: "Today's posts were created by [Student's Name], 6th Grade Social Media Takeover Star!"

Chaplain Hunter

Calling all young fans of Harry Potter! Chaplain Hunter will treat up to five students with a special reading of part of a chosen Harry Potter novel. Put on your PJs, grab a sleeping bag and pillows, and snuggle up for your favorite bedtime story. Meet Chaplain Hunter in the chapel, where she'll provide the spooky ambiance, animated voices, and a special Harry Potter snack! [Hunter sent me lots of photos. I will send them to Kelen for the online auction.]

Bryson Carter

Spend the afternoon playing your favorite video games and munching on your favorite snacks with your favorite IT manager, Bryson Carter. The winner and two friends can hook up their consoles to challenge Mr. Carter on the big screens at school one Friday or weekend afternoon.

Calling all picklers! Itching to play on Canterbury's tennis courts? Lauren Varkey and Heather Oakley invite the winning student (or parent!) and 7 friends to an on-campus pickleball tournament, followed by a pizza lunch.

Preston Fogartie & Sally King

Winner fills two tables (8 players total) for a mahjong party to be held at Preston or Sally's house. They'll provide apps, drinks, an allstar playlist, and good vibes. Open to anyone who already knows how to play mahjong. Date and time to be decided between the winner, Preston, and Sally.

Lizzy Stemke & Kelly Russell

"GYM JAM TIME!!" - Has your child and their friends ever wanted to raid the PE equipment closet, crank up the music and have a free choice of movement games in the gym one day after school or one weekend morning? Book two hours of freedom for YOURSELF and let Lizzy and Kelly tire out and engage your kiddos in scooter play, parachute party games, and big ball madness! Of course we are happy to tailor all activities and accommodate special requests. Snacks and drinks will be provided!

Donated by Lizzy Stemke, We Play is an all-girls, multi-sport youth camp where young athletes can try a variety of sports and activities in a supportive, confidence-building environment over the course of a week. Campers participate in cross-training and exposure to multiple sports, which can help enhance athletic ability, promote teamwork, and support overall physical and mental wellness. Camper must be girl, age 8-12.

Learn the basics of watercolors with Canterbury's talented Ann Browning McCarty! The winner and a friend are invited to paint a home watercolor or lifestyle portrait with pictures provided beforehand. Ann Browning will provide watercolor paints, brushes and watercolor paper to keep after the lesson, along with your own masterpieces! This item is open to all ages, but best suited for age 8 through adults.

Roz Brink & Tracey Alston

Enjoy a well-deserved night off! Early Childhood Parents' Night Out will be held on a Friday evening from 6-9 pm at Canterbury in either Ms. Brink's or Ms. Alston's classroom. The kids will enjoy pizza, popcorn, a movie, and crafts while parents enjoy a few carefree hours.
