Tiles & Tastings: A Mahjong Mixer!

Ready to learn the game that's taking over game nights?

Join us for a two-part Mahjong social designed specifically for beginners. Whether you've never seen a tile or just need a refresher, we've got you covered!

The Game Plan:

• Session 1: Crack the Code (1.5 Hours) We'll break down the tiles, the "language" of the game, and the basic rules. No experience is required-we provide all the knowledge and materials!
• Session 2: Let the Tiles Fly (1.5 Hours) Put your new skills to the test. We'll dive into beginner-friendly gameplay where you can practice your strategy in a relaxed, low-pressure environment.

Celebrate your 2nd grader's upcoming first eucharist by creating their own rosary to commemorate the special faith-filled year.

Students will learn how to make a beautiful rosary necklace or bracelet from start to finish instructed by SFA Grandparent, Mary Lynn Biggins.

Give your aspiring soccer or football players the ultimate experience --- learn from former Iowa Hawkeyes kicker Keith Duncan in an exclusive 1-hour small-group workshop!

• Date/Time: TBD
• Participants: 10 kids, ideal for 3rd-8th grade
• Lesson Length: 45-50 minutes instruction + 10 minutes Q&A
• Kids will get hands-on coaching in kicking fundamentals, training techniques, and mental preparation, and hear stories from Keith's Hawkeye career.

The workshop includes autographs on anything for a keepsake from this one-of-a-kind experience.

Join us for an afternoon of biking, drinks, snacks and dinner. Party hosts ride along with you to provide sag wagon, support and fun!

The afternoon will begin on Waukee Trail Head and riding west on the bike trail.

Details on stops to come - every year is a little bit different depending on the weather and the number of participants.

There will be food and drinks provided the length of the trail - wherever that leads us. This will be an event you won't want to miss.
