Help us in our efforts to support the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (CAN) with the Oktoberfest 1/2K! This is not a full 5k race, it is a walk around the building at any pace you choose! Don't want to put on workout clothes, no problem!
Entertainment - We have a DJ who will bring the tunes AND there will be a Stein holding contest.
Food - Fulton Taproom taco buffet with Oktoberfest pretzels/cheese!
Refreshments - Fulton is brewing a special keg of Oktoberfest to share for the event plus non-alcoholic beverages also available.
Mission speaker - Jenn Schultz - 4-time cancer survivor and author of Bravely Becoming: Overcoming Grief and Loss to Find Yourself Again
In addition to the above, we will have a silent auction, Stein holding contest, and race medals! 
This event is rain or shine so let's hope for sunny and 80. 
$25 Ticket price includes a 100% donation to ACS CAN. Food, music, beverages, water stop, photos, and 1/2k walk are also included in the event!

Is this a race? Not at all. It's a leisurely stroll.
What is a 1/2 K? It's like a kilometer but half of a kilometer. Think of the parking lot at your favorite grocery store and then walking in and to the far back corner for milk. That walk is further than this half k.
I have to come downtown? What about parking? Fulton is in the North Loop! Plenty of street parking nearby.
Do I pay for parking? North Loop meters end their fees at 5 pm. Parking for everyone!
Can I bring my kids? Sure can! There is food, soft drinks, and Fulton has board games. There will be food and entertainment if they like that type of event.
What is a Stein holding contest? Big mug of beer that you hold with your arm straight out and see who can hold it the longest. It's an Oktoberfest traditional event at Fulton, so we are incorporating it here.
Cool! Do I win anything? Yep! You can win Fulton Swag of your choice!
