Our online teen platform, "Stream of Consciousness" (SOC), supports students teaching and learning mental and emotional health tools from their fellow teens who are trained in our FundaMental LifeTools Program, as part of the 1M Conscious Youth initiative. Mental health tools should be accessible to all - beyond borders, available anytime, for free.

Beach landscape is an oil painting on canvas. It's not a rendering taken from a photograph, but is a scene from an elevated view coming from my imagination. Architectural lines are painted in abstraction. And colors are presented in high key values.

Triptych of three 24"x36" panels, each composed of two meticulously hand-drilled acrylic sheets arranged in a halftone pattern-a process that demands both precision and time. I Only Came Here For A Drink Honey
30" x 40" x 1 5/8"
Profile Oil, House Paint, Enamel, & Acrylic On Canvas
The painting is all original everything. The canvas frame was custom built by the artist. The painting blends multiple painting techniques and gives several nods to contemporary artist (see Robert Motherwell-type box in background). The painting has been reviewed as "Americana Avant-Garde". The scene depicts a cowboy figure the artist saw in Livingston, Montana. Once approached by a waitress/bartender and asked what to order...The cowboy simply said, "I Only Came Here For a Drink Honey."

Surfer's Calling
30" x 40" x 1.5"
Layered acrylics on canvas
"Surfer's Calling" portrays a lone surfer poised on the rocks, gazing toward the horizon in quiet anticipation. Layered acrylics are built up and gently revealed, allowing the figure to emerge organically - echoing the ocean's rhythm of give and take. A one-of-a-kind original that speaks to patience, courage, and the sea's eternal pull.
SPACE FOR THE UNKNOWN
30" x 30" x 2.5"
Beeswax, damar resin, and Japanese Kozo paper on wood panel
Encaustics refers to molten beeswax mixed with damar resin (which creates a harder surface) with oil paint added. This is heated to a melting point (160-220F), and quickly applied to a wood panel using natural bristle brushes while still warm. Each applied layer is fused to the previous one using another heat source. I use a heat gun, propane torch or tacking iron each of which gives a different texture. This is important to maintain its structural integrity. I then incorporate Japanese Kozo paper strips after dipping them into encaustic medium, by melting them onto the bed of beeswax.

Surf 009
16" x 9" x 7"
Copper, Stone, & Wood
A lone surfer charges down a rough, churning wave, locked in an aggressive stance. The wave crashes and twists with raw energy, but the surfer meets it head-on, all force and focus. This sculpture captures the intensity of the moment, the grit it takes to hold your line when the ocean pushes back. The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year.
Beach 007
10" x 10" x 7"
Three copper figures lie side by side relaxing after a surf. A moment that speaks to friendship, comfort, and shared time. The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year.
