Join us for Hunkapi's Open Your Heart Gala on October 18, 2025, at our serene 10-acre farm in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona - where healing begins with horses, and hearts are changed forever.

This year, we celebrate 26 years of impact, connection, and courageous love with our theme: Enchanted Southwest - a nod to the beauty, resilience, and spirit of the land we call home. We're thrilled to welcome Carey Pena, Emmy Award-winning journalist and Founder & CEO of Inspired Media 360, as our evening's emcee, alongside the incredible local auctioneer Frankie Fletcher, who will help bring the energy and excitement to our live auction and fundraising moments.

Hunkapi Programs, Inc. has been an Arizona nonprofit offering mindfulness-based, therapeutic horse programs to many and varied populations within Maricopa County. All sessions have one interwoven focus: "to teach the world to fear less and love more." Whether working with a client with autism, a first responder or domestic violence survivor with post-traumatic stress, a patient recently diagnosed with cancer, or a high-level executive team, our herd and team of mental health professionals utilize mindfulness and somatic experience to guide each individual from fear and closed-heartedness to love and more open-hearted living.
